NW were commissioned to design and install a system to prevent the intake of chemicals from a road or rail tanker into a tank that contains a different product from the one discharged from the tanker.

This was achieved by installing a control and monitoring system that uses the following components to ensure that cross-contamination does not take place:

• Ultrasonic instrumentation

• Control valves

• Control systems

• Associated equipment
