In May 2006, Murray Easton, Managing Director of BAE Systems, visited our premises to sign the £1.1m contract for the refurbishment of the shipyard's steam barge.
The steam barge is crucial to the testing phase of the new nuclear submarines, replicating the actual operating conditions of submarines and surface vessels.
Awarding this contract to us proves BAE's confidence in our ability and services.
