WEAR IT PINK DAY 2007

On Friday October 26th NW staff took part in Breast Cancer Campaign's national Wear It Pink Day.  Employees wore at least one item of pink clothing and donated £2 to the charity, raising a total of £42.00.

DONATION TO LOCAL RUGBY CLUB

We have donated funds to Roose Pioneers Rugby Under 18s, used to buy polo shirts for the team

CHINA TREK 2007

NW were recently asked to sponsor John Whalley, of Sovereign Planned Services, on a Great Wall of China Trek, raising money for the Parkinson's Disease Society.

John has so far raised £14,000 and counting, which will go a long way towards helping to improve the lives of those suffering with Parkinson's Disease.

SILVER AWARD FOR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY

In 2006 we were awarded the Silver Award from ROSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) for Occupational Health and Safety.

In September of that year we attended an official awards ceremony held at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow, where the award was presented by Lord Brougham & Vaux, RoSPA Vice President.

NORTHWEST BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT AWARDS

In summer 2006 we were presented with the runner-up award in the Existing Technologies section of the North West Business Environment Awards, for our unique Air Driven Diaphragm (ADD) pumping system.

Further to this achievement we are pleased to announce that we are ambassadors for this year's awards, run by the MerseyBasin campaign.
